The Power of Prayer

I have been rather dull on praying lately - enjoying just being with my Friend and sharing joy at the flowering Spring and yes -praying for friends- but have not always remembered that I depend on Him for everything.

I have learned to ask Him for my car and my home- the big things- and His answer is always direct. I know He delights to answer even our small requests and so I have been so encouraged by Tom Morrow's recent sharing about praying for a brown sofa for a friend who wanted one to match his existing sofa but had no money for it. Within 24 hours someone rang to ask 'anyone use a brown sofa?' and so now he has what he requested. Almost immediately someone commented about prayer for a fridge-freezer needed and it was given -. It is good to be reminded that our God does care like this.

Tom Kisitu has been telling me of his work in West Pilton; of closed doors as he walked the streets but as he prayer-walked the situation changed and people came out to him wanting to talk , pray and come to the Centre. Exciting developments and changed lives!
And then of course there is the exciting challenge faced by the Street Pastors each week--
